Bridal Inspiration From The 2020 Oscars

We love looking to the red carpet when we're in need of some bridal inspiration; and this year's Oscars looks have left us dreaming of dresses & sketching couture!

Exposed corsetry, one-shouldered necklines, draping, asymmetry, bold texture, jet black, heavy embellishment, and champagne hues; were among our favourite celebrity trends this year. We're expecting to see many more brides embracing asymmetry and one-shouldered necklines this season!

We've collated a collection of our favourite looks from the Oscars & Vanity Fair afterparty, showcasing some of the world's best designers; including Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Zuhair Murad, Versace, and many more.

Drawing from our love for the Oscar's embellishment, asymmetry, and texture; we've designed our own couture gown - exclusive to Twelve South Bridal!

Twelve South - 'BIANCA'.

Made from ivory crinkle tulle, our one-shouldered 'Bianca' gown features an asymmetrically draped bodice with an angled cut-out, matching satin belt, embellished waist, and flowing tulle skirt.

The bodice back is unlined, embellished, and features dramatic draped tulle from the shoulder.
